For some reason, I thought it would be funny for Heather to meet one of Eric's older brothers.  It seemed to me that they would get along extremely well, seeing as they were both the "shallow popular crowd" type in high school.  Avery's older than Heather by several years -- he's a senior in college, while she is a freshman -- but neither of them has grown up especially since high school.  I thought about making it Ralph instead, but we've seen Avery, and they're quite similar, really.
