Okay, I know, the second panel seems completely ludicrous, given that I don't actually draw muscles . . . (hides embarrassedly).  There was just no other way for him to put it, though, and it was just the way those two would get together.  Call it "suspension of disbelief," perhaps?  (Or else "boy, that guy is delusional if he thinks he has muscles," if you prefer.  :P)  You'll notice that he doesn't mention playing college football -- he wasn't good enough for it.  He's all ego with no actual skill.
