It never even occurred to Richard and Tilia, when his father died, that Dron's keeping quiet was contingent on his friend still being alive.  Had they thought to run over and beg him to continue keeping silent, he might have considered it then, but he probably would have taken some convincing.  He never agreed with Jorkann's views on the subject to begin with; he just happened to believe Jorkann deserved to have some say about their joint research.  Not the new monarchs, though.
