This seems like the kind of "final exam" Dron would offer to his students, don't you think? If they agree with authority, they'll just have to accept whatever's handed to them. If they disagree, they'd better be intelligent about it, or they'll get worse results. Dron wants his students to disagree with him anytime he's wrong, but he doesn't appreciate stupidity (or wheedling, or whining), so he doesn't want to hear it. He thinks his opinions are right, but he likes to learn when he's incorrect.
