Loretta has great parents -- who happen to be sane, and would not be pleased to hear their supposedly-adult daughter has been chasing people around with, well, weapons.  (And over something trivial this time, too.  I mean, really.)  Unfortunately, Loretta's mother does not approve of her sword-obsession -- and given the evidence, it's easy to understand why.  So if Loretta's parents were to hear about this, she'd be in tremendous trouble two different ways for the same thing.
