Poor Gorgon.  Aylia's mother is in rare form today!  (Smug chortling.)  If you can't tell, they're in the middle of whatever last-minute party the duchess has managed to throw together, and it's being held in Alassa's dorm, so the Gorgon's stuck there.  Daria's having a grand time, being Daria and blissfully unaware of most potentially awkward social situations, but most of the other people there are probably having second thoughts about sticking around Alassa much longer.
