At college in our world, Aylia shared a two-bedroom apartment with three roommates.  At the wizarding school, most students live in dorm rooms that are one single room, share a large bathroom with twelve other rooms on their floor, and house three residents.  The nonhuman building is built differently -- every floor has a different layout built to accomodate a wider variety of shapes and sizes, and there are less rooms on the bottom floor (probably eight), so that a room could fit a dragon Daria's size, if necessary.
