Yes, Aylia's still depressed, and that couldn't just go away after one strip.  That made this storyline difficult to write, but it was still necessary, both for Aylia's character and for the pacing of the story.  I knew that if I didn't spend enough time on how Aylia's feeling right now, it would make her character shallower and the story weaker.  But, of course, there's always the difficulty of trying to make a storyline funny when you're dealing with serious issues!  I hope I did a sufficient job here.
