And hence we see why Aylia is not exactly a natural for teaching.  Her instinct is to shove books in people's faces and demand that they read them -- not explain things.  She's not poor at explaining when you get down to it, but she really doesn't see why other people can't be as brilliant and fast-reading as she is.  She also prefers to be in a room filled with books, not students, and her only training as a teacher has been with . . . well . . .
