So, the immediate problem is fixed: Victoria finally gets to marry Mordran and regain the status of heir to the throne of her country!  Not that that resolves everything, by any means.  It's going to take years of further trickery and cleverness to inch any closer, and they've got an uphill struggle.  Still, being back home means they have resources and connections they can reach much more easily, and they've won their first battle together.  They've even earned both sets of parents' grudging respect!
