I liked the idea of extremely-girly Jenny trying to decorate a room for Aylia to stay in -- Aylia, who's not particularly girly, and finds her mother's extremes in that direction just a tad exasperating.  Since Jenny's mother is rather harsh and hates femininity, it only makes sense that Jenny would become much more girly after being away from her mother sufficiently.  Meanwhile, Aylia is fairly neutral towards the color pink, but finds the idea of a bedroom awash in it rather disconcerting.
