I take much glee in knowing that Alassa was the person to shriek about Carolynn's song, last strip.  (Evil grin.)  I'm also quite pleased about how Gundur turned out in the first panel of this strip.  He definitely posed on that way on purpose: he does everything to look dramatic, desiring to astound and impress everybody.  He is a snob.  (Huge grin.)  He especially likes to impress beautiful mermaids, and doesn't care one smidge whether they have brains in their heads, as long as they're stunning.
