Even though I knew from the beginning Daria and X were going to be Aylia's roommates at the wizarding school, I also knew there needed to be good reasons for both of them, and I needed to make sure it was not a let-down.  It always seemed right to have Daria and X -- two old roommates -- as Aylia's roommates at the wizarding school, however, regardless of the "change a roommate every semester" tradition.  I have a few theories about why this seemed so important and necessary.
