Aylia has trouble dealing with change, unless it's change she's decided to make herself -- and even then, when she changes, it tends to be at the expense of completely rejecting the behavior, person, or whatever else she's decided to change in her life.  Cecelia is much more flexible, which is a good thing, since she's had to adapt very quickly to a few major lifestyle changes over the past few years (like becoming a dragon and adopting a son).  Incidentally, isn't Gavin such a three-year-old?
