There had to be a reason Felincia was required to be here, and this is it!  The spell requires some kind of recognizeable evidence that the person who transformed the other is present and willing to have the transformation reversed, so the Oracle of Lycanth tried to make the evidence required as simple as possible.  I think the "pool of detransformation" wound up looking pretty cool, by the way!  Man, I'm so happy to finally be doing this storyline -- I've been planning it for so many years.  :D
