My original concept of Sissy was that she'd be like Nicole in that she doesn't ever accept Aylia's magic, but unlike her in that she refuses to believe in magic, no matter how many times it's shoved in her face.  That wound up not becoming nearly as major a part of her character as I'd intended, but it's still there.  Sissy's very stubborn, so she'll believe whatever she wants to, no matter how obvious it is that her opinions are dead wrong.
