The other reason I started this storyline was for the piece of information that comes out in this strip.  Wondering why Aylia's parents could decide where she goes to school, despite the fact that she's been eighteen since the beginning of the story?  Well, now you know why.  Until she's twenty years old, she won't legally be an adult, which means she won't have the right to decide anything like where she goes to school for another year.  It's a stupid law, yes, but she's stuck with it.
