This is one of Ben's favorite strips.  Being an English major, I hear a lot of talk about tragic heroes in my classes.   But it occurs to me that a tragic hero would depend entirely on your perception of a character -- if you like the villain, and don't want to see him get hurt, wouldn't you consider his death an awful thing?  And if you identified with him all the way through the story . . .
